Columbus, GA – OXE’N is the face of the next generation of super artists. Born in Fayetteville, NC, as Erica Nichole Waddell, she came up with the name “OXE’N” because she was born under a bull sign, a Taurus.

As a child, she got inspiration from the music of Rick James, who happens to be one of daddy’s favorite artists. She learned how to play the clarinet, piano, drums, and cello, which makes her even more appealing. Her music and lyrical delivery portend her quality traits of strength, exhilaration, smarts, and attractiveness.

She’s a brilliant artist that makes use of her several creative elements to produce a powerful musical rendition that pierces through the soul of her listeners. Her songs are available online for listening, inspiration, enlightenment, and entertainment.

OXE’N upbringing was complete with both married parents in a lovely and joyous household with two brothers. Her diversity comes from the experience of living internationally in Germany and multiple locations within the U.S like Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee, and now Georgia.

With a top Drill Sergeant mother and a dad who was airborne, producing quality is second nature for OXE’N. She moved to GA in 1999 and fell in love with the streets. Unfortunately, OXE’N got in trouble and had to serve time. While incarcerated, OXE’N had her first child and also suffered the loss of her mother, so handling the music industry is a cakewalk for this future mogul.

Later, she embraces education by obtaining an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing and a Certified Customer Service Degree. She is seasoned with the stage and opening up for big acts like Fabo, Rahiem, and Wish Da Great. She also makes a headliner For Battle of the Bands With Kami Tee all last year, the headliner for Babycakes and WOM, and one of the artists for the Hip Hop Summit in Columbus GA with an exclusive radio interview on 98.3 “THA BEAT.”

Apart from her music, OXE’N is also very active in community projects. She creates time to take care for family, invest in the cleaning of the earth organizations, and serves towards the educational needs for schools and kids. She has also opened a school to stop the violence in society, sometimes that has become her immediate goals. Expect many tour dates, new movie soundtrack and hit songs, and community work here in 2020 by the dynamic direction of OXE’N!!!
