IGC Pharma (NYSE: IGC) Target Raised on Alzheimer’s 2027 Outlook

September 01, 2026 IGC Pharma, Inc. (NYSE: IGC) is gaining attention after Ascendiant Capital Markets raised its 12-month price target to $6.00 from $5.50 while maintaining its BUY rating, citing continued clinical progress and the Company’s expanding AI-enabled Alzheimer’s programs.

The key near-term catalyst is IGC-AD1, IGC’s lead investigational therapy for agitation associated with Alzheimer’s dementia. The Phase 2 CALMA trial reached its original 146-patient randomization target and subsequently advanced to within six additional randomizations of expected enrollment closure, with topline results anticipated in Q4 2026.

Ascendiant highlighted previously reported interim CALMA results showing a clinically and statistically significant reduction in agitation compared with placebo and said additional positive data and development progress could serve as catalysts for IGC shares. IGC-AD1 is part of a broader pipeline of five Alzheimer’s therapeutic candidates, including TGR-63.

IGC is also developing AI-enabled technologies for Alzheimer’s research and drug development, with Ascendiant identifying the Company’s AI beta program as another important milestone. The research firm said it continues to view IGC’s valuation as attractive relative to its potential opportunity, raising its 12-month target to $6.00 based on a net present value analysis while acknowledging the risks inherent in clinical-stage biotechnology development.

Alongside IGC Pharma (NYSE American: IGC), investors are also watching CollPlant Biotechnologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CLGN), Australian Oilseeds Holdings Limited (NASDAQ: COOT), VivoSim Labs, Inc. (NASDAQ: VIVS), and Ping An Biomedical Co., Ltd. (NASDAQ: PASW) as emerging-growth stocks continue attracting market attention.

With Phase 2 Alzheimer’s results expected in Q4 2026, an expanding AI program and a higher $6.00 analyst target, IGC Pharma is entering an important period that could help set the stage for its Alzheimer’s development strategy in 2027. See Entire Ascendiant Report
